Weaver Street Market
So a while back Bruce (aka Dancing Guy) was told he could no longer dance at the Weaver St. Market in Carrboro, NC. If you haven't been there, its like the epicenter of the hippie universe. A natural co-op grocery store with a "public" lawn. A place where the community hangs out, eat, etc. It really feels like a public space.

If you look on the front page, you'll notice an artistic representation of the lawn and the front of the market. You'll see what I mean by public space...
So, about two weeks ago the word began to spread that they've told Dancing Guy to stop dancing...

(sorry if the links are a little ugly/long, I'm not great at anything beyond typing into this thing)
The town has been up in arms. Yesterday the property management said that there will be no dancing, singing, guitar playing, etc., etc. No performing of any type. This came about in a super secret PR session.
Residents are upset, but there is all this wishy washy talk of love and no conflict or spite.

I repeat my motto, Spite is not only a good motivation to do something, its the BEST motivation to do anything! I think people should just boycott the entire Carr Mill Mall and Weaver St. Market until they reverse the policy. If you open it up as public space, you shouldn't get to change that years later...
Chapel Hill/Carrboro is as bad as Cary. Too many restrictions. This is nothing but corporate facism. The best way to fight it is to stop consuming...
