Another invasion of privacy
So this company Weyco (http://www.weyco.com) has decided that it will ban its employees from smoking. This is a complete ban, not just at work but at home as well. I saw the owner's lawyer on GMA and Today and they feel the company is well within its rights to do so.
It amazes me how business is forgetting that it does not own its employees. An employer can't just decide that while at home, its employees must or must not engage in a perfectly legal activity. What next? No fatty foods? No drinking? No voting for a candidate the company disagrees with? Everyone should go to www.aclu.org now and join. They're the last organization in this country standing up for the rights of the individual.
